Phoenix Park Hotel Washington

Being close to the train station and having easy access to various bus lines made my daily commute stress-free. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The second-floor lounge with complimentary coffee was a great perk for early mornings before heading out for meetings. I particularly enjoyed the clean and comfortable room, which provided a good night's rest after a long day of work.

Omg, the bed in our room was like sleeping on a cloud! 😍 so cozy! close to the train 🚇 station and great restaurants nearby. Only downside - breakfast not included.

I stayed in this charming hotel for 3 days, had excellent experience, loved its favourable location adjacent to shops, Union Station and Washington.

Everything was perfect and rooms were fashionable and well-appointed.

The hotel's proximity to the Amtrak station for our trip to Orlando was convenient, allowing us to check in early. The room was serene and comfy, though better blackout curtains would have been nice. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. Despite being slightly overpriced, the excellent location and clean facilities made it a good choice.

The hotel's location is top-notch, near all the cool stuff, Capitol, Union Station – you name it. The staff members are just lovely, always going all out to make sure you're happy. The rooms are so comfy with a great bed, loads of pillows, and a ton of towels, and we lucked out getting a bigger room for our kiddos 🙌. The blinds weren't blackout, so the sunrise might disturb late risers, but no biggie, everything else was fab!

Efficient small hotel with great value, we had a such great stay. We appreciated the location short walk to Metro stations, the Union train station and subway, it was very central. Also, the venue had quick access to National Postal Museum.

Watch out for occasional noise from the AC cycling on and off at night and less-than-perfect blackout blinds.

The hotel was fairly clean based in a historic style building with excellent co-operating staff.

The hotel is in a prime spot - just a stone's throw from Union Station and a short walk to the Capitol. There's a bakery nearby and a café for brekkie. The rooms are spotless, the staff are lovely, and there's free coffee and tea on the second floor. 🌟 Great place to crash, only downside is some rooms have dull views.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, near Union Station and with great public transport connections. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent suggestions and maps for exploring the city. However, the soundproofing between rooms could be improved for a better night's sleep experience.

Staff and location were very good, I loved that it overlooked street. Central heating, multi-channel TV and ironing facilities in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. They had an early check-in.

It is well located, near the train station and Capitol, from where you can start your visit to the Mall. area is clean and safe. Right in the hotel there is a perfect Irish pub for dinner and drinks.

My family and I had a blast wandering around the local neighborhood, discovering all sorts of cool spots. I especially loved the huge living room and separate den where we could all chill together. The food at the pub downstairs was so yummy, and the wet bar in our room was a nice touch. We even found an umbrella in the closet—an unexpected hero on a rainy day! Plus, the view from the terrace was pretty sweet. Can't wait to go back!

No breakfast. Reversible air-conditioning heating that makes an infernal noise as soon as the thermostat goes down: waking up several times during the night.

The hotel is located close to the train station. Good bedding. The staff at the reception is extremely friendly. The hotel offers a luggage storage service for the day after check out. Very practical when you have a train at the end of the day and you want to visit Washington in the meantime.

Noise insulation is a bit low. The young man who serves breakfast easily forgets the orders. Breakfast too expensive: more than seven dollars for plain yoghurt.

During my stay at Phoenix Park Hotel, I found the room to be clean and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to main attractions and landmarks like the National Postal Museum and the White House, perfect for family bonding. Great location a stone's throw from the capitol... Perfect bedding, no bedbugs or other undesirables... Very clean and perfectly functioning equipment.

Cold reception of the staff

Excellent service: all the receptionists were extraordinarily attentive and friendly, they even left me a phone adapter and in the evening they asked me for takeaway food, because my mobile phone was not working. The price is expensive, but like everyone else.

The wifi only worked in half of my room, you could hardly get it from the bed.

Our family had an amazing time exploring the nearby Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo, all within a short distance from the hotel. The concierge desk was incredibly helpful in arranging family-friendly tours and activities, making our stay even more memorable.

My wife says that a larger room would have been more comfortable for our big family.
